Crazy Love Pillowcase Dress

Dress one is finished for KCWC! Do you love it as much as we do? I'm IN LOVE! This pillowcase dress is made completely with Jennifer Paganelli's Crazy Love fabrics. Sometimes it's just easier to use fabric from all one collection because you just KNOW it will look good.

There are many tutorials on the web for pillowcase dresses (remember my round-up post?) I used the tutorials from The Mother Huddle, only I didn't use fat quarters. I liked that I didn't need a pattern, even for the arm-holes. And I like the bow sash, though I made mine much longer. The only other change I made was using French seams along the sides as I hate zigzagging.

This dress went together so fast, it really is a shame I haven't made more in the past. I'm doing something different for my almost-seven-year-old as I don't think she would like the silhouette of a pillowcase dress. I'm attempting a tiered sundress. Wish me luck!

How's your KCWC sewing going?
